So as this bullshit quarantine starts I’m starting to really fall into a healthy and productive schedule. I find myself forgetting I’m even in school anymore; but feel as though I’m getting more work done now as opposed to before the quarantine.
So as quarantine passes I find myself falling behind on school work and can’t seem to focus on what I need to get done. It feels like now that I’m not physically in school I have a lot more work and a lot less motivation.
So as we are going through this time of quarantine I’ve started to notice my beard is growing at a faster pace than it did before quarantine. And I find I don’t like having to shave daily to keep a clean shaved face.
So as we go through quarantine I’m finding myself outside a lot more, I don’t know if it’s due to the beautiful weather or the fact that I need to get out of the house. But I’m loving the weather.
So as this quarantine goes on forever I think I’m going crazy! I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to go to a restaurant more than right now.
So as quarantine is extended I find myself falling more in love with my girlfriend. We are with each so much that we are getting better at communicating our feelings.
So as this fucking quarantine goes on forever I feel as though I don’t know what it is like to shake another humans hand. Or even talk to a stranger without examining if they are healthy or not.
So as this quarantine goes on I find myself latching onto any chance I have at going to the grocery store. Like my new favorite place to go is Walmart because I see people that I didn’t see yesterday.
So as this quarantine goes on I think I need to learn how to cut my own hair. This would be a great skill to have.
So as this quarantine is still going on… this is how I feel.

“So as quarantine is extended I find myself falling more in love with my girlfriend. We are with each so much that we are getting better at communicating our feelings.”
I’m really digging these sentences, among many.
Your piece is poetic, deep, and captivating. And a very cool painting, too. Awesome to hear this side of you.
Keep on keeping on, Kevin.

Unique format and like Freeman said, it’s pretty poetic with the repetition of “So as”. My favorite part (and that stood out) was definitely the quote about your girlfriend. It was sweet and honest which is always appreciated in writing. Overall it was really well written and I enjoyed reading it. Take care!

I feel the same way. I haven’t seen or even touched another person since this quarantine started. I feel like when this all blows over that we’re either going to be more careful or be almost exactly the same as before.

I really like how you incorporated your title throughout your writing, I thought it was really cool. I enjoyed how you were able to address so many things at once, it felt as if I was actually talking to you. By the way cutting hair is actually A LOT harder than it seems. I cut my boyfriend’s and my dad’s hair and it was really difficult, it took me hours.

Love the format, I get what you’re saying about having more work and less motivation, it’s hard man I feel the same way and all we can do is push ourselves and try to finish the semester strong.
