Dear coach Turtle,
I want to thank you for the role in my life as a coach and a mentor. I’m writing you this letter to tell you how much I appreciate what you have done for the team and me over the many years we had together. You have sacrificed much of your time and effort into trying to make the team successful as possible. You were very faithful to the team since the day we started which really help us build a strong relationship together as one team. Because you treated the team and me with such respect we became family and that is something I’m very grateful for. I remember you used to make me and some of the other players stay after practice to work on one on one with you so that we could reach our full potential and to give the team the best of us. If I’m being honest I would not be the person and player I am to today if it wasn’t for the guidance you gave me and the team. You have taught us discipline, Dedication, and Fair play that made us become the person we are today. One example of Fair play we learned from you was when the referee made a bad for us and gave us a penalty which was not, you decided to go over and talked to him so that he couch change the called. Before I end this I wanted you to know that I love you and were the best coach a player could ever ask for.

Best,

Great letter to your coach, Wilby. He sounds like an inspirational and dedicated leader.
“If I’m being honest I would not be the person and player I am to today if it wasn’t for the guidance you gave me and the team.”
That is a powerful thing to say. But no more powerful than this:
“Before I end this I wanted you to know that I love you and were the best coach a player could ever ask for.”
That’s quite a sentence, Wilby.
Awesome pictures. Looks like some tight squads.
