I see myself being successful in the future. All my life I have been different from the people around me whether it be at home or in school and I believe there is a reason for that.

 I have always been a very artistic person, growing up I would always be drawing, then once I got a computer I moved to graphics design. Excelling in programs such as photoshop and adobe illustrate, I would make designs for fun and develop a passion for art. I was even gifted a really expensive drawing pad from one of my cousins. I believe the path that I am going in life revolves around art and that is something that I will do in the future. 

My future could also revolve around running track. I have been running track since my junior year of high school and have come a long way from where I started. I was never the person who had “natural” talent but someone once told me that heroes are not born, they are created. I took that as inspiration, even though I may not be where I want to be I’m moving in the direction to reach my goals. So I worked hard and became MVP of my team and 6th in New Jersey for 110 meter hurdles. I remember times that I would come in last place in races and people tell me that I was not good enough to run with the fast kids but that just forced me to work harder. Whatever my future holds it may revolve around running track or art but I’m sure with enough hard work and effort I can make my dreams come true. 


For my future all I really want is to be so financially secure that money is not a problem for me. I don’t need to be rich, I just want to be at a point where I don’t need to stress about money anymore. For about a year now me and my friends have been working on a clothing brand called Fevertoflex. Our company motto is “Settle Not” which means not to settle for less and keep striving in your life until your goals are reached. I believe in this and encourage everyone to keep going when times seem hard and are willing to settle for less. Never settle because you open the curtains for your life, by that I mean your future can be as bright as you create it. Nobody knows what the future holds but I know that I don’t ever want to settle for less.
