
I believe everyone should be healthy not only physically, but also mentally. Health is important to each and every one of us. It is very good to be healthy. Health is the most precious asset in the possession of human beings. Better health is central to human happiness and well-being.
In the interview, I asked How do you personally take care of your physical and mental health?
My roommate Michael said,” as a student-athlete, I personally take care mentally by getting enough sleep every night and ask for help when needed. physically I stay active and eat well.” As a student-athlete, I think it is extremely important to take care of yourself due to the fact that you are concisely pushing your body every day at training. I also think playing a sport can be stressful at times being physically and mentally healthy can reduce it.
My friend Emily said, “ It is really hard for me to take care of myself physically and mentally because college is challenging and I spent most of my time doing work for my classes.” It’s tough to find the time and motivation to devote to a healthy diet and workout routine and to balance those factors with other activities. I feel that a lot of college students have the same issue as Emily because college is a very stressful place and sometimes it is hard to find time to do things when you have so much going on.
My teammate Modou said, “ Staying healthy keep me happy and makes me feel good about myself.” Being healthy is something that brings joy to a lot of people including me. Personally I can relate to Modou because working out is something that usually make me feel good about myself and also it push me to be my best self .
In my opinion, I think every college student should practice and work to improve their physical and mental health.
