Wilby is a freshman here at Rowan University. He grew up in Neptune City in Monmouth County and graduated from Neptune High School. He is 19 years old, which makes him the youngest of 6 siblings. 

He is a sports communications major. Wilby’s major should not come as a surprise considering the fact that he played three sports in high school; soccer, track, and wrestling. 

Out of the three sports listed, Wilby loves soccer the best. His ultimate dream is to become a pro soccer player. His favorite team being FC Barcelona. 

After chatting with Wilby for a few minutes, I felt an instant sense of comfort. He’s a habitual smiler whose positivity can lift anyone’s mood—even the sleep deprived. His ability to keep a conversation going is a personality trait that I envy. Wilby is the kind of person who won’t make you feel bad if the talk turns awkward. 

I’m glad I had the chance to meet and talk with someone like him.
