Mikaela is education major she is really big in education. Basically everybody that she hangs around with has a background in education family & friends,etc. Her mom is becoming a teacher, her friends are all education majors, and she is also an education major the only outsider which is her father and he is a EMT/fire fighter. Which everybody around her is really in tune on helping others.
She decided not to dorm at Rowan because she only lives 15 minutes away which is understandable. She works at Wawa in Hammonton,NJ part-time Mikaela also told me how one time a customer was being so rude & told her not to ask how she doing which is hilarious because all she was trying to do was be nice to her.
Besides working & school when she has free time she likes to hang with her friends if not she likes to watch Disney+ and Netflix. She watched all the shows we loved as a kid Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, Good Luck Charlie, etc. Mikaela is big into New Girl, she just found out that a new season came out today so you already know what she is about to be watching.
Mikaela aspires to be a Kindergarten teacher. Long term she would like to become a principal. I told her if she still teaching when I have a kid and I live in South Jersey, I’m going to bring my kid to her school just so she could teach my kid. Why not ?
When I first got my partner, I was unsure how this interview was going to go. I thought that we wouldn’t have anything in common and this was going to be the most awkward experience ever. But in reality, my partner and I had a surprising amount of things to talk about and amount in common.
My partner’s name is Keion. His birthday is July 3rd and he’s 18 years old. He lives in West Orange New Jersey which is really far north. His favorite color is gray, his favorite foods are pizza and waffles and he really enjoys basketball. Some of his favorite shows are Full House, Friends, Drake and Josh, Wizards of Waverly Place, That 70’s Show and The Office.
While he’s here at school, back home he has a 9 year old brother, his dad who works at UPS and his moms who is a vegan baker. She opened up her own shop where she makes a bunch of really good looking vegan desserts. Kieon said that the tieremesue is really good and recommends it to others.
Kieon is a freshman here at Rowan and is an advertising major. Currently he is thinking of also doing an engineering minor. It’s his first semester here at Rowan and he is living here at Holly Point. Originally he was supposed to go to Bridgeport College in Connecticut for basketball. Last year he ended up with an injury that kept him from playing, but when he tried rushing his recovery he made it worse. So instead of going away, he decided to stay home, recover from his injury and decided to come to Rowan. His new plan is to stay here at Rowan for two years (he didn’t want to stay home and go to a community college), then transfer to a bigger school to hopefully launch his basketball career and can hopefully one day make it to the NBA. If basketball doesn’t work out then his backup plan is to fall back onto engineering.
On the outside Keion seems to be someone that is very chill, doesn’t care about much about other people’s lives and mostly just keeps to himself. In reality he is very much a people person. He loves meeting new people and going to new places, which is why he liked he was able to leave home for college and hopes one day to move to California). He is probably one of the most chill and go with the flow people I have ever met. He cares a lot about the people around him and he seems to be pretty excited to be here at Rowan.
