Zierra; Sonny

Sonny is nineteen years old from Washington Township, New Jersey but he was originally born in Philly. He went to Saint Augustine Preparatory school, an all boys high school in Buena Vista Township. He used to play baseball and soccer. He is obsessed with sports, he has many sports posters in his room as well as season tickets for football. He also likes to hang out with his friends, go to the gym and travel. 

He has been to places like Japan, Italy, and Mexico, just to name a few. Which is pretty convenient since his favorite foods are italian and japanese.  

He is the youngest of three and has three dogs. Sonny is a freshman at Rowan University. He is undecided but looking to go into business. After college he has dreams to go into his family business. This is his first semester here. He originally went to Saint Joe’s University but when he realized it was too expensive he came to Rowan. He only lives two minutes away and a lot of his friends go here so he came here too. In his free time he likes to watch the Office as well as the movie Step Brothers.

I asked him to describe himself in two words and he considers himself outgoing yet reserved. After spending some time talking to him, he is very friendly and welcoming. He is easy to talk to and laid back. He seems to be a really good friend to have.

Madi ; Zierra

Zierra is 18 years old and her birthday is September 14th, 2001. She is a freshman at Rowan University and she is studying in elementary education. She grew up and is currently still living  in Vineland, New Jersey, which is only about 30 minutes away from Rowan. She attended highschool at Vineland High and also grew up playing soccer.

  Zierra lives on campus in the evergreen housing building and she is very close with her roommate. She describes herself as 2 words which are introverted yet also extroverted when she wants to be. She likes to stay in and chill, but can be very social at times. 

 In her free time, she likes to sing and watch her favorite movie “Matilda”. She has been to several places like Mexico, Virginia, California and Canada. Even though Zierra has not been to Italy, it is still her favorite type of food. After she graduates she wants to travel to many places. 

She has a really big family which include a lot of siblings both on her moms and dads side of the family. Just on her dad’s side she is the youngest of 6 siblings and on her mom’s side she is the middle of 3 siblings. She also has two pets which both of them are dogs. 

After talking with Zierra for a while, I could tell that she was very friendly and observant. During the whole talk, she really kept the conversation going and overall she seems like a great friend to have.

Sonny; Madi 

Madi is 18 years old and is from Collingswood, New Jersey. For highschool Madi attended Paul IV where she graduated and went to East Stroudsburg College. She attended  East Stroudsburg for one semester before transferring to Rowan University, she decided that the school was not the right fit for her and she wanted to be home. 

Madi does not live on campus she has a 20 minute drive from collingswood, that’s a little rough when you have to get to your 8am Comp class. Madi is a Criminal Justice Major at Rowan. After she graduates she would like to work for the FBI.

When Madi is not on the Rowan campus she can be found at one of her two jobs. During the summer she spends time in Wildwood where she has a house out. She has 2 sister and 3 dogs. On the weekends you can find Madi going out with her friends or even going to get a workout at the gym. Madi enjoys watching the show “Power” in her free time. Madi hates chinese and japanese food. 

Madi grew up playing softball where she pitched and played outfield, and she played softball for East Stroudsburg college. She did not want to pursue playing at Rowan, the reason she does not play anymore is because she broke her arm 7 times. 

Madi describes herself as outgoing and extroverted, after getting to know Madi she seems like a nice a fun person to be around.
